The Fibre Optic Static Hot Metal Detector uses a state-of-the-art infrared photo detector in front of a robust electronics signal processing package to allow for fast and reliable detection of hot objects in extreme industrial environments.
A remote lens coupled via a fibre optic cable allow the sensing head to be placed very close to the target area thus ‘cutting through’ heavy steam, smoke, and dust.
