The Static Hot Metal Detector uses a state-of-the-art infrared photo detector in front of a robust electronics signal processing package to allow for fast and reliable detection of hot objects in extreme industrial environments.
The HMD-ST is used primarily for detection of hot metal above 300°C / 572˚F, including most shapes and dimensions of wire rod, bar, strip, steel plate, billet, and slab.Includes a built in Laser pointer for quick and easy alignment.
If the environment is too harsh, a fibre optic option is available.
