The TLM is a triangulating laser-based distance measurement tool. It projects a beam of laser light creating a spot on the target surface and views the reflected light from an angle from the sensor array inside the TLM (i.e. triangulation), and then calculate the target distance from the image data. The TLM has a multitude of industrial and scientific applications. The measurement is sent through analog output and serial communication ports.
